Defining Investment - "the action or process of investing money for profit or material result".
Although true, that seems so very stiff and cold to me...
Investment
A photography Investment to me personally is so much more than "profit" or "material result". It means memories, the gamut of emotions like amazing life filling happiness or thoughtful reflection for what the future will bring. A moment frozen so that we can be reminded of how we felt at that very second. Smiles, giggles, laughter, I could keep going...
Part of your photography investment is the time we will have together during your session to capture just the right photos... The other part comes in having those memories, smiles, happiness hanging on your wall as the masterpieces of art they are. It is so important to me that you have prints of your portraits so that you can enjoy them and smile each time you see them. I cannot tell you how many times I have heard... "I still haven't ordered photos on my own"...
